JME 80 *Wall Required: With one arm above your head resting on a wall, rotate your upper body downward. JME 46 Starting with your hand at your side and your palm facing forward, move your arm up, over your head, then back down. Advanced Rotation Maximum rotation requires established capsular mobility and rotator cuff strength. JME 47 With your arms at a 90 degree angle, rotate them both up and down - keeping your shoulders in the same position. JME 40 With both your arms bent at 90 degrees, rotate your upper body toward one side - extending your arms straight at the end of the rotation. Advanced Behind-Back Work Full behind-back reach demands extension, internal rotation, and adduction. JME 49 Try to touch your hands behind your back - with one arm coming from above and the other below. JME 86 After putting your hand behind your back, bend your upper body foward to feel a gentle stretch in your shoulder. Combined Advanced Positions These exercises combine multiple end-ranges simultaneously. JME 78 *Wall Required: With one hand on a wall or doorway, rotate your upper body in the upper direction to feel a gentle stretch in your shoulder and chest. JME 59 With one hand behind your back, bend your upper body forward to feel a stretch in your shoulder. Dynamic Advanced Work Movement at end-range builds strength through maximum positions. JME 83 With your arms extended in front of your body, make a small and controlled circle with both arms at the same time. JME 76 Starting with your arm out in front of you, face your fingertips away from your body and move your arm in that direction. Next, have your fingertips face your body and move your arm in that direction back toward the middle. Advanced Routine Protocol Warm up thoroughly with basic shoulder movements before advanced work. Hold positions for 30-45 seconds. Movement exercises get 8-10 controlled repetitions. Perform this routine 2-3 times weekly maximum. Advanced shoulder work requires respect for tissue limits. Progress slowly. Forcing range creates injury, not mobility gains.
