Lateral Neck Flexion (45 seconds each side) Why it works: Releases lateral cervical restrictions. JME 3 Tilt your head left then right toward your shoulder 3. Chin Tuck (45 seconds) Why it works: Addresses forward head posture and activates deep flexors. JME 6 Gently tuck your chin to your chest 4. Rotational Neck Stretch (45 seconds each side) Why it works: Combined rotation and lateral flexion for complete cervical work. JME 10 Have your fingertips face forward and tilt your head to that side. Then rotate for your fingertips to face backward and tilt your head to the other direction. 5. Full Arm Circle (45 seconds) Why it works: Takes shoulders through complete range of motion. JME 44 Starting with your hand at the side, bring your arm up, over your head, then back down to the side. 6. External Rotation at 90 Degrees (45 seconds) Why it works: Balances shoulder rotators. JME 47 With your arms at a 90 degree angle, rotate them both up and down - keeping your shoulders in the same position. 7. Behind-Head Elbow Movement (45 seconds) Why it works: Opens chest and mobilizes scapulae. JME 42 With your hands behind your head, extend your elbows forward and back. 8. Behind-Back Hand Touch (60 seconds) Why it works: Tests and improves multi-planar shoulder mobility. JME 49 Try to touch your hands behind your back - with one arm coming from above and the other below. 9. Seated Thoracic Rotation (45 seconds) Why it works: Mobilizes thoracic spine through rotation. JME 150 Sitting in your chair, rotate your upper body both left and right. Don't do this too fast - find what works for you. 10. Thoracic Extension (45 seconds) Why it works: Counteracts flexion and opens chest. JME 154 Either sitting or standing at your desk, extend your upper body toward the direction behind you - either putting your arms above your head or keeping them at your side. 11. Open Book Rotation (60 seconds each side) Why it works: Maximum thoracic rotation with anchored position. JME 152 Rest one hand either on the back of your chair or desk. With the other arm, rotate toward the ceiling and follow your fingertips with your eyes. Return to the middle and repeat. 12. Side Body Stretch (60 seconds each side) Why it works: Lengthens entire lateral chain. JME 151 Either sitting or standing, extend one arm up over your head. Bend toward the other side for a gentle stretch in your side body. Return to the middle and repeat. 13. Hip Circles (45 seconds) Why it works: Lubricates lumbar and hip joints through circumduction. JME 99 Hip circles. Basically move your hips in a circular motion like a hoola hoop. Circle does not have to be large - can be small and controlled. 14. Standing Hip Rotation (45 seconds) Why it works: Weight-bearing hip mobility. JME 115 Standing, rotate your upper body to each side - keeping your feet in the same position. 15. Hip Flexor Mobilization (60 seconds each side) Why it works: Addresses primary hip restriction from sitting. JME 113 Place one knee on your chair and move that knee both forward and back to feel a stretch in the front of your leg. 16. Hip Internal Rotation (60 seconds each side) Why it works: Restores deep hip rotation. JME 111 Placing your knee on an elevated surface, rotate your upper body back toward that elevated leg. (This will be very difficult in the office - a bed is ideal for this exercise). 17. Hip Hinge with Rotation (45 seconds each side) Why it works: Integrates hip hinge with spinal rotation. JME 117 Resting your hands on either your chair or a wall in front of you, lift one leg in front of you up to 90 degrees, rotate your upper body down, and then reset. 18. Standing Forward Fold (60 seconds) Why it works: Integrates posterior chain mobility. JME 94 Slowly bend forward and reach your hands toward the floor. 19. Calf Raise to Heel Rock (45 seconds) Why it works: Completes routine with ankle mobility. JME 232 Starting flat on your feet, rise to stand on your toes. Fall back down to your flat feet and then stand on your heels. This movement should be fluid and stable.
