Full body mobility addresses every link in the kinetic chain. The body functions as an integrated system. Restrictions anywhere create compensations elsewhere. Comprehensive mobility work maintains function throughout. This 10-minute routine covers every major joint from neck to ankles. Twelve exercises flow naturally through the body, addressing common restrictions while building movement quality. The extended duration allows deeper work than shorter routines. Use this routine as your primary daily mobility practice. Ten minutes invested here produces hours of better movement quality. The comprehensive approach prevents the gaps that shorter routines leave. Start Your 14-Day Free Trial The Complete 10-Minute Routine 1. Neck Rotation (30 seconds) Why it works: Begins at the top of the kinetic chain. Gentle rotation wakes up cervical joints and establishes breathing rhythm. JME 1 Look left and then right 2. Lateral Neck Flexion (30 seconds each side) Why it works: Releases the scalenes and upper trapezius. Completes cervical preparation. JME 3 Tilt your head left then right toward your shoulder 3. Full Arm Circle (45 seconds) Why it works: Takes shoulders through complete range of motion. Distributes synovial fluid throughout the joint. JME 44 Starting with your hand at the side, bring your arm up, over your head, then back down to the side. 4. External Rotation at 90 Degrees (45 seconds) Why it works: Balances shoulder rotators. Addresses the internal rotation bias from daily activities. JME 47 With your arms at a 90 degree angle, rotate them both up and down - keeping your shoulders in the same position. 5. Seated Thoracic Rotation (45 seconds) Why it works: Mobilizes the mid back. Central hub for upper and lower body movement. JME 150 Sitting in your chair, rotate your upper body both left and right. Don't do this too fast - find what works for you. 6. Thoracic Extension (30 seconds) Why it works: Counteracts flexion from sitting. Opens the chest for better breathing. JME 154 Either sitting or standing at your desk, extend your upper body toward the direction behind you - either putting your arms above your head or keeping them at your side. 7. Side Body Stretch (45 seconds each side) Why it works: Lengthens the entire lateral chain from hip to shoulder. JME 151 Either sitting or standing, extend one arm up over your head. Bend toward the other side for a gentle stretch in your side body. Return to the middle and repeat. 8. Standing Hip Rotation (45 seconds) Why it works: Opens the hips through rotation. Integrates with spinal movement. JME 115 Standing, rotate your upper body to each side - keeping your feet in the same position. 9. Hip Flexor Mobilization (45 seconds each side) Why it works: Addresses the most commonly restricted muscle group from sitting. JME 113 Place one knee on your chair and move that knee both forward and back to feel a stretch in the front of your leg. 10. Hip Internal Rotation (30 seconds each side) Why it works: Restores the rotation capacity lost from prolonged sitting. JME 111 Placing your knee on an elevated surface, rotate your upper body back toward that elevated leg. (This will be very difficult in the office - a bed is ideal for this exercise). 11. Standing Forward Fold (45 seconds) Why it works: Stretches the entire posterior chain in one integrated position. JME 94 Slowly bend forward and reach your hands toward the floor. 12. Calf Raise to Heel Rock (45 seconds) Why it works: Completes the routine with ankle mobility and lower leg activation. JME 232 Starting flat on your feet, rise to stand on your toes. Fall back down to your flat feet and then stand on your heels. This movement should be fluid and stable.
